In 1985, the City of Westminister purchased a group of new fire apparatus from E-One.  The Engine shown here was not
typical of these new rigs as it was the only one ordered with an aerial device.  This rig is an E-One Hurricane  powered by a
Cummins L10 diesel motor paired with an Allison Automatic transmission and equipped with a 50 foot Teleboom, Hale
1,500gpm pump and a 300 gallon water tank.  This rig was consolidated into the Orange County Fire Authority in 1995 and
was assigned county shop number 5005.  It remained in service in Westminster for a few years after the consolidation before
being reassigned to the pool of training apparatus as Training Engine 2.
