Engine 1731 is a 1963 Ford F-750 Superduty powered by a 534 V-8 gasoline engine and a 5 & 4 transmission.  It is fitted with a 750gpm Barton American front mount pump and a 1,500 gallon steel water tank. Engine 1731 was custom built by Western States Fire Apparatus.
