Los Angeles City Fire Department Emergency Air Unit 1 is stationed at the LA City Fire Dept. Shops near downtown Los Angeles. EA1 is a 1982 White designed and purpose built as an Air Unit. It is fitted with a Bauer Air Cascade system supplied by a Bauer electric compressor powered by a 40kw generator driven off of the trucks PTO. This system is capable of filling 8 SCBA cylinders at one time and carries 120 spare SCBA and 40 Oxygen cylinders. |
