| Los Angeles City Fire Department Engine 69 is this beautiful 1970 Seagrave pumper. Los Angeles City Fire received 11 of these Seagraves in the early 70's. Engine 69 is a Seagrave Model KB-20688 and holds serial number R-4616. Powered by a Cummins 350 turbo diesel engine and a Spicer 5 speed manual transmission, it is fitted with a Waterous 1500gpm pump although it was originally fitted with a pump capable of 1250gpm. It has a water tank capacity of 400 gallons. Engine 69 (shop #60239) last saw service in the community of Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. It is now owned by the Bramm Family of Anaheim, CA. |
