Eugene Fire Department Station 2 is located in Eugene's most diverse neighborhood, which produces a wide range of service requests.  This firehouse opened in February of 1999 and is the departments largest station at 25,000 square feet.  Whiteaker Station is home to Engine 2, Truck 2, the District Chief, the Technical Rescue unit as well as a reserve medic unit.  It is also home to Eugene's Fire Training Center.
