The Los Angeles City Fire Department placed and order for this wide-cab Crown TeleSqurt in 1979.  It would have served as Wagon 9 with LA City Shop number 60340 but was rejected by the LAFD.  It was instead purchased by the Torrance Fire Department where it served until 1998 and was then sent to the El Camino College Fire Academy in Inglewood.  It is interesting to note that this would have been the first wide-cab Crown purchased by the LAFD and only the third enclosed cab Crown purchased by them.
She carries Crown Coach serial number F1799 and is fitted with a 50 foot TeleSqurt, 1,500gpm Waterous pump, 400 gallon tank, and is powered by a Cummins diesel motor with a 5-speed manual transmission.
