The City of Santa Barbara ordered a TeleSqurt
from Crown in 1982.  In the photo above
shared with us by Larry Arnold, she is shown
completed in May of 1983 outside of the
Crown Factory in Los Angeles just prior to
being driven north to her new home.  She was
assigned serial number F1859.  She went to
Station 4 in Santa Barbara where she served
the duration of her career.  This rig is powered
by a Detroit Diesel 8v92TAC with an Allison
Automatic transmission.  It is fitted with a 50
foot Telesqurt, 1,500gpm Waterous pump and
400 gallon water tank.  She was formally
retired in November 2008 and sold at auction
in January 2009 to a collector.
