The City of Auburn, California purchased this Crown Firecoach in 1972 for $110,000.  Carrying serial number F1752, it first served as Engine 31 and currently as Engine 1231.  It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 engine with an Allison Automatic transmission.  F1752 is fitted with a Waterous 1,250gpm pump, 400 gallon tank, and  a 55 foot Telesqurt.
