Truck 2 is a 1976 Crown Tractor-Drawn Aerial (TDA), F1738.  T2 is ex-San Diego Fire Department powered by a Cummins NTF-380 diesel engine, Allison Automatic transmission, and equipped with a Maxim 100' Aerial Ladder.  This is the last of 10 TDAs delivered by Crown Coach.  San Diego also bought the first one produced by Crown.  It took Crown over 18 months to deliver this unit to San Diego due to numerous changes including adding bullet proof windows to the tillerman's compartment and a labor problem with Maxim.
