|Orange County, CA purchased this Crown new in 1972. She was assigned County Shop number 5179 and first served as
Truck 17 in the City of Cypress. She was reassigned for a short time in 1975 to the Headquarters Station in Orange. She then
went on to become Truck 34 for the City of Placentia at the end of 1975 until she was retired in 1991. She was purchased at
auction by the West Coast Aborist Co. and was used for tree trimming through the 90s. This rig eventually found its way into a
wrecking yard in Fontana, CA and it is unknown if it has been scrapped or not. She carries Crown Coach serial number
F1666. She is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 with an Allison Automatic transmission and is fitted with an 75 foot Snorkel.
