| Los Angeles County purchased two Crown Firecoach Snorkels in 1968. The first of the two was Truck 43 serving the City of Industry where she replaced an older Crown Snorkel. This rig carried Crown Coach serial number F1544 and LACo Shop number 49242. Truck 43 is shown here briefly filling in for Truck 29. She was built powered by a Hall-Scott 1091 gasoline engine and an 85 foot Pittman-Snorkel. | |||||||||
