| The Huntington Beach Fire Department purchased a second Crown Snorkel in 1971. Assigned Crown Coach serial number F1662, she is fitted with a 1,500gpm Waterous pump with a 150 gallon tank and a 85 foot Snorkel. F1662 was powered by a Cummins NTF-365 diesel motor matched to a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission. She was first assigned to Station 2 as Truck 8222, in the mid 80s as Truck 50 and by 1993 prior to retirement as Quad 45. |
