This Snorkel was the very first assembled by Crown.  She was commissioned by the City of Elko, Nevada
in 1960.  Built on a International VCO-190 chassis, it utilized a Crown body and was fitted with a
Pittman-Snorkel 50 foot elevating boom.  She carries Crown Coach serial number F1221 and is powered
by an International 549 V8 gasoline motor with a Fuller 5-speed manual transmission.  She is equipped
with a Waterous 750gpm pump and 300 gallon water tank.
This rig has served Elko continuously as Engine 2 since 1960 and was offered for sale to collectors in 2008.
