|This 1969 Crown Snorkel originally served as Truck 2 for the Corona, California Fire Department. After Station 3 was built, she went on to become Truck 3 and served the last part of her career as Reserve Truck 3. She is fitted with a 75 foot Snorkel and powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 engine with a Spicer 5-speed transmission and carries serial number F1582.
After being retired, she was last seen sitting in the lot of an apparatus broker in southern California and the current disposition is unknown. Thanks to Battalion Chief Chris Cox for sharing the history of this rig with us.
