The Carmichael Fire Department purchased this 65 foot Crown Snorkel in 1963 where it first served as Truck 9.  It carried serial number F1317 and was powered by a Hall-Scott 935 gasoline engine.  The photo above is dated 1963 and appears to have been taken when the truck was newly delivered.
