| Truck 14 is a 1966 Crown Snorkel. She carries Crown Coach serial number F1433. She is powered by a Cummins NTF-350 diesel motor with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission and fitted with a 75 foot Pittman-Snorkel. Built with an open cab, she was refurbished in the late 70s and among other things, had her open cab enclosed. She served the City of Burbank up until the late 90s when she was retired. She then languished for many years in the back of the city yard in Pasadena before being sold at auction in 2008. She was purchased at the auction by a collector. |
