This Crown pumper was built in 1971 for the Westgate, CA Fire Department where she served as Engine 3.
It was later absorbed by West Sacramento where it served as Engine 241.  It is fitted with a Waterous
1,500gpm Waterous pump and a 750 gallon water tank.  She is powered by a Cummins NTC-350 diesel
motor and carries Crown Coach serial number F1661.  After being retired by the City of West Sacramento,
she was acquired by a collector who blew the motor.  She was sold to another collector in the Bakersfield area
and is now in the process of being repaired and restored.
Special thanks to Don Jarvis for sharing these and many other photos on this site.
