This 1959 Crown pumper was built for the Ventura County Fire Department in 1959.  She carries serial number F1148 and first served as Engine 2 and later as Engine 4.  She was originally powered with a Hall-Scott 935 gasoline motor and fitted with a 1,250gpm pump and 500 gallon booster tank.  F1148, is also equipped with a 150gpm Byron Jackson high pressure pump for pump and roll operations.  She was purchased at auction by a collector in the late 90s.
