| The Sunnyvale, California Fire Department purchased this Crown Firecoach new in April of 1974 where she first served as Engine 4. Carrying serial number F1710, she is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 paired with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission. She is equipped with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump and 400 gallon water tank. Upon retirement in 2005, she was sent to Nationwide Auctions in Benicia, CA and sold. She was picked up by the Idaho City, Idaho Fire Department where she continues to serve today. |
