This 1966 Crown Firecoach was originally purchased by the community of Live Oak located along the central coast of California.
Through consolidations, she became owned by the Central Fire District of Santa Cruz County and has served as Engine 2312 with
the Felton Fire Protection District since the mid-90s.  She was originally powered by a Waukesha gasoline motor with a Spicer
manual transmission.  She was refurbished by Hi-Tech Fire Apparatus of Oakdale, CA in the mid-80s which included re-powering
to a Detroit Diesel 6v92 with an Allison 4-speed automatic transmission, new high compartments on the captains side and new
paint.  She is fitted with her original 1,250gpm Waterous pump and 500 gallon water tank.
She is owned today by collector Tom Holdych and carries Crown Coach serial number F1435.
