The Redlands, California Fire Department purchased Engine 1 from Crown in 1969.  She is fitted with a Waterous 1,250gpm
pump and 500 gallon tank and was assigned Crown Coach serial number F1592.  She is powered by a Cummins NTF-295
diesel motor paired with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission.
F1592 served as Engine 1 through 1981 when she was displaced by a new wide cab Firecoach, moving her to Station 2.  She
continued in service as Engine 2 up until 1988 when she was demoted to a reserve.  In 2005, this rig was refurbished as a
parade rig by Redlands FD personnel which included removing the fiberglass canopy and lightbar which were added in later
years and replacing several missing pieces that had been removed over the years.
