| Orange County Fire Authority Foam Tender 36 is a 1970 Crown Firecoach. It was originally built as a pumper with a Waterous 1500gpm pump and 500 gallon tank and assigned to Engine 28. It is serial number F1623 and Orange County shop #5168 and is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 engine. FT36 is still in service as of September 2001 with no plans for retirement. It had its body modified when it was converted to a foam tender in 1991 by FireBann of Ontario, CA, but remains much the same appearance wise. It was assigned as FT27 until Station 27 was closed. | |||||||||||||
