The Orange County Fire Department purchased this Crown Firecoach in 1972.  Carrying serial number F1668,
and shop number 5178.  It started its career as Engine 22 serving the City of Laguna Hills, replacing the 1966
Crown, F1450.  In 1980 it was reassigned to E24 in Mission Viejo and later as E224.  Later when the Department
was reorganized and became the Orange County Fire Authority, F1668 was assigned to the City of Laguna Beach
as Engine 202 before entering the relief pool as Engine 952.  F1668 is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 engine
paired with an Allison Automatic transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump with 500 gallon tank.
This rig was retired and sold at auction in August of 2005.
