| This Crown Firecoach, serial number F1410 was built for the Orange County Fire Department in 1965 and served as Engine 23 in El Toro. She is fitted with a Waterous 1,250gpm pump, 500 gallon tank and was originally powered by a Hall-Scott 1091 gasoline motor with a Spicer 5-speed transmission. She was rebuilt in the late 80's and repowered at that time with a Detroit Diesel 6v92 while keeping her original transmission. She is owned today by collector Dennis Byrnes. |
