This Firecoach pumper is now owned by Firefighter David Barron.  His father, Dewey Barron was the Captain on this very rig
when it was at Station 1 in the City of Orange.  David, who grew up in Orange is slowly restoring this rig to factory new condition.
Assigned Crown Coach serial number
F1672, she was purchased new by the City of Orange in 1972 where she went into service
as Engine 1
in the Downtown area.  F1672 is powered by a Cummins NTF-365 diesel motor paired with an Allison Automatic
transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,5
00gpm pump with a 400 gallon booster tank.
Upon retirement by the City of Orange, she was sold at auction and was picked up by a contractor who used the rig to test fire
sprinkler standpipes.  She was sold on eBay in April 2009 and subsequently collected by David Barron.
