|Kingsbury Fire District in Stateline, Nevada purchased F1530 new in 1967 where it wore Stateline's color scheme of bright yellow. It is one of few 4 wheel drive pumpers built by Crown.
When Kingsbury Fire District was consolidated with the Nevada Division of Forestry, F1530 was designated Engine 4350 and painted the then standard scheme of teal blue.
F1530 was later repainted again to the new Nevada Division of Forestry's standard paint scheme and was designated Engine 81. It is powered by a Cummins NTF-350 diesel engine with Fabco 4 wheel drive and transmission. She is fitted with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump and 500 gallon water tank.
A special thanks to Firefighter Brett Boukather for contributing this and many other photos of Crown apparatus for everyone to enjoy.
F1530 was retired and sold at auction mid 2006 by the Nevada Division of Forestry and appears to have been purchased by an equipment dealer in Grants Pass, Oregon where she is pictured below.
