F1735 is a 1975 Crown Firecoach that was purchased new by the Borough of Montvale, New Jersey were she served as engine M1.  She is powered by a NTC-350 Cummins diesel motor with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission.  She is equipped with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump and 500 gallon water tank.  M1 was retired in 1996.
