|The City of Montebello, CA purchased this Crown pumper new in 1964 where she was assigned to Station 3. She is
powered by a Hall-Scott 1091 gasoline motor paired with a manual transmission and equipped with a Waterous 1,500gpm
pump and 600 gallon water tank. The photo above show the rig as it was delivered. Siren speakers were later cut into the
front skin and the cab was later enclosed. She carries Crown Coach serial number F1348.

|After F1348 was surplused by Montebello, she was acquired by the Crest Forest Fire Protection District near Big Bear.
She was refurbished by Crown which included replacement of the skin on the front of the cab, replacement of the hose reels
with crosslays and a repower which consisted of a new Detroit Diesel 6v92TAC and an Allison Automatic transmission.
Afterwards, she went to the Apple Valley Fire Department in the high desert as she is seen below.
She is currently owned by a collector.
