The Laguna Beach, CA Fire Department purchased Engine 3 in 1972.  Engine 3 carries Crown
Coach serial number F1683 and is fitted with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump, 500 gallon water
tank and is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v71 motor with an Allison Automatic transmission.
Upon retirement by Laguna Beach, she was sold to the Shell Oil Refinery in Carson, CA where
she remained in service with the refinery fire department.
