| The County of Los Angeles purchased this Firecoach in 1968 as part of an order for 17 new pumpers. Shown here is Engine 82 which carries Los Angeles County Shop number 49576 and Crown Coach serial number F1553. She is powered by a Cummins NTF-350 diesel motor paired with an Allison automatic transmission with a Waterous 1,250gpm pump and 500 gallon booster tank. Engine 82 served the La Canada / Flintridge area of the County, replacing a 1963 Crown at this same station. |
