|Los Angeles County Fire Department Engine 60's claim to fame is that she was the stand-in for "Engine 51" in the
television show Emergency!. While filming shots in and around the station set at Universal Studios, she would receive
temporary lettering as Engine 51.
Engine 60 is a 1965 Crown Firecoach, serial number F1400, LACo Shop number 49215. She is powered by a
Hall-Scott 935 gasoline motor paired with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission and fitted with a Waterous
1,250gpm pump with 500 gallon water tank. F1400 served Station 60 in Universal City for the duration of her career.
She is now preserved at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum.
