This Firecoach pumper was built in 1977 for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  She originally served for a short
time as Engine 7 in West Hollywood and was later reassigned to Station 50 in Commerce and later in the 90s to Station 8
again in West Hollywood.  She carries Crown Coach serial number F1781 and is assigned LA County Shop number 49376
and was the second received of an order for 5 identical pumpers received by LA County in 1977.
She is powered by a Cummins NTF-295 diesel motor paired with an Allison Automatic transmission and is fitted with a
Waterous 1,000gpm pump with a 500 gallon water tank.  This rig is also equipped with a PTO powered Byron-Jackson
150gpm high-pressure pump for pump-and-roll operations.
