|Los Angeles City Fire Department Pumper 80 served Los Angeles International Airport and was one of two Crown pumpers delivered to Los Angeles in 1962 wearing this unique (to Los Angeles) chrome yellow color. P80 carried Crown Coach serial number F1311 and LA City shop number 60141. F1311 is powered by a Hall-Scott 1091 gasoline engine with a Spicer 5-speed transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump with 400 gallon tank. Upon being retired by LA City Fire, F1311 was donated to Mexico.
Pumper 81 was identical in specifications and carried serial number F1312, LA City shop number 60142, and was stationed in Arleta..
