Huntington Beach Engine 8203 is a 1979 Crown Firecoach pumper.  Serial number F1810, Huntington Beach shop number 8203.  She is powered by a Cummins NTC-350 diesel engine mated to an Allison Transmission.  She is fitted with a 500 gallon tank and 1,250gpm Waterous pump.  She served the Huntington Beach Fire Department for 26 years, from 1979 to 2005.
The original assignment was at the Warner Fire Station as 8211 and later as ME43.  In the mid 80's the Engine was moved to the Murdy Station as HE43.  In the early 90's the engine was once again moved to the Bushard Station and became HTB E43.  In the mid 90's the Engine went into reserve service and was assigned to the Lake Fire Station.

After having Crown Fire Apparatus for 50 years (1955 to 2005), 8203 was the last Crown Firecoach to be retired from the Huntington Beach Fire Department.

F1810 was retired in mid-2005 and is now owned by Donald Pogue.
