Culver City Engine 5 is a 1981 Crown Firecoach and carries serial number F1841.  She originally served
as Engine 2 and is currently a reserve.  She is powered with a Cummins NTCC-350 diesel motor paired
with an Allison Automatic transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,500gpm pump with a 500 gallon tank.
F1841 was retired by Culver City in mid-2008 and sent to the General Auction Company in Buena Park,
CA where she was quickly sold.  She sold for the minimum bid of $2,000 to Barstow Truck Parts with the
intention of being scrapped for the motor and transmission.  Cooler heads prevailed and Barstow Truck
Parts offered this rig along with it's sister for sale to the collector types all of which missed the initial auction.
She was sold again a few weeks later, this time for $5,000 to a collector
