| This Firecoach pumper was built for the Carson City, NV Fire Department in 1967. She is assigned Crown Coach serial number F1459 and was initially assigned to Station 2. She was originally powered with a Hall-Scott 1091 gasoline motor with a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,250gpm pump with a 750 gallon water tank. Upon retirement F1459 was purchased by a used equipment dealer and wound up at Dave Cook Used Trucks in Florien, LA where she is pictured below. She is still there and for sale as of November 2008. |
