| The Carson City, NV Fire Department purchased Engine 11 in 1977. She is powered by a Cummins NTCC-350 diesel motor with an Allison Automatic transmission and fitted with a Waterous 1,250gpm pump with a 500 gallon water tank. As can be seen atop the cab roof, Carson City installed a huge air scoop to help combat cooling problems encountered at its high altitude desert conditions. Upon retirement in early 2003, Carson City donated F1797 to the Furnace Creek Volunteer Fire Department located in Death Valley, CA where she was in service until early 2009. |

| F1797 was retired and sold by Furnace Creek in early 2009. She was purchased by collector Devin Hull. She is shown in these photos after a major clean up and minor refurbishment including the removal of the giant air scoop for aesthetic reasons. |
