The Buena Park Fire Department purchased this Crown Firecoach pumper in 1961. She originally served as Engine 3 and carries serial number F1232.. As built she was powered by a 590 Hall-Scott gasoline motor with an Allison Automatic transmission and fitted with a 1,000gpm Waterous pump and a 400 gallon water tank. She was later repowered with a V903 Cummins diesel motor. She spent a length of time as a training rig for the County of Orange before being sold at auction in April of 2004. She was purchased by National Hardware & Equipment in Madera where she sits today. |
