The Disneyland Fire Department purchased this Pierce mini-pumper on a Chevrolet chassis in 1976.
It is powered by a Chevrolet 8 cylinder gasoline engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.  It is
equipped with a PTO powered Waterous 250gpm pump and has a 300 gallon water tank.
In this era, Crown Coach Corp. was the west coast marketing and sales agent for Pierce Fire
Apparatus.  These rigs were commonly known for having Crown badges affixed to them by
employees when they arrived in the Crown plant in Los Angeles for set up prior to delivery.
